Marta Becco
Facilitator of yoga and meditation journeys, cook for pleasure, explorer, lifelong student.
I see myself as a passionate seeker of the world—both inner and outer. I walk, constantly, and I hope never to arrive at any final destination, belief, or conviction.
As a nomad, I dwell in nuance. I travel light, always leaving something along the way.
I want to be tousled by fresh gazes and unfamiliar perspectives—to meet, exchange, offer myself, and listen. To travel, too, as much as I can. To recognize what unites, underlies, connects, and weaves us together.
To expand the horizon, deepen the feeling. To nurture shared awareness. To contribute, in my microscopic way, to the growth of collective, harmonious well-being.
A bit of egotistic showcase, which I find endearing and good for grounding big words: I adore cats and whales (especially baleen whales). Also dogs, owls, fish, foxes, turtles, various insect species and small vertebrates. Horses. The wolf! Okay, I’ll stop.
Oil painting, tango, the desert, good wine and passionate cooking, live music (and not), the sea, wind filling the sails, long walks (barefoot too), olive trees and Jacaranda blossoms, Japanese whisky, chili peppers and cinnamon, heartfelt hugs, sitting in silence with someone I love.
For the past few years, I’ve been facilitating individual and group yoga and meditation paths (mostly online or periodically in Turin), thematic seminars around the world, Ayurvedic consultations, and guided relaxation sessions (yoga nidra).
I’m passionate about bringing yoga beyond polished studios, into diverse social and cultural spaces. I’ve led workshops and courses in collaboration with associations and communities engaged in mental health and psychological suffering.
I organize residential retreats in Italy and abroad, in special places I enjoy discovering and then sharing.
Oh—almost forgot. I love to write.
