Silent, like an embrace

Residential meditation seminar

November 10 – 12
Semi di crescita, Calice Ligure

Between chestnut and hazelnut woods, in the humid and pregnant silence of the Ligurian autumn, we offer three days of immersion in meditation practice.

The rational mind, furrowed by the deep imprints of convictions, beliefs, and judgments, creates separation and opposition. It’s the realm of concepts—something to grasp and hold tightly: good, evil; right, wrong; visible, invisible; life, death. It’s an insistence on control, the exercise of power that constrains experience, generating suffering.
Nature speaks another language, one not bound by morality. It’s the perpetual ending of all things; it’s image, beauty; it’s the sacred offering through existence, honoring its essential vocation.

To access this dimension where duality is potentially transcended, we practice silence. This isn’t a negation, inhibition, or sublimation of sound, but a conscious inclusion of all sounds that pass through us: sensations, thoughts, emotions, images. It’s a sensitive and attentive, loving and creative silence. A connection with that neutral, quiet part of us, unburdened by identity traits, where every sound is a potential possibility.

The sessions, courses, seminars, retreats, and materials offered by Sarangi are for inner exploration, problem-solving, and personal growth. They are not a substitute for the work of doctors or psychotherapists, as their purpose is not to consider, treat, or resolve medical or health-related conditions or symptoms.
